Are you an experienced and compassionate Psychologist with a dedication to providing counseling and therapy to individuals and families? Body & Mind Natural Health is actively seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Psychologist specializing in Counseling and Therapy. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral needs of individuals and families.
2. Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy to individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate psychological perspectives into comprehensive patient care plans.
4. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to address the diverse needs of patients, tailoring interventions to individual and family dynamics.
5. Offer crisis intervention and support during challenging situations, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
6. Advocate for patients to ensure access to mental health resources, support services, and community-based programs.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of psychological assessments, treatment plans, and interventions in accordance with organizational policies.

 

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Psychologist, with a focus on counseling and therapy.
2. Expertise in providing evidence-based counseling and therapy to individuals and families in a healthcare setting.
3. Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions for diverse mental health conditions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
5. Experience in conducting psychoeducational workshops and support groups is a plus.
6. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
